Athens Highland Apartments is preferred by college students due to its proximity to campus. It has been renovated recently. It is located at around 1 mile from UGA/downtown campus. This place is also the heart of Athens making it comfortable for the occupants to travel anywhere in Athens. For college students who stay in this Athens Apartments, the journey to the University of Georgia is just a short walk. Every apartment has been provided with facilities that give a homely feel. All the Athens apartments are two bedroom apartments with a patio or a balcony. The apartment is maintained and managed by Bauman and Company. A month’s rent amount is collected as deposit fee. Pets are allowed to be kept but some restrictions may be imposed. $200 has to be paid for keeping pets which is non-refundable and is to be paid only once. There are totally 64 numbers of apartments and each are constructed on 900 sq. feet. Each apartment is rented at $525 and offered on standard lease. The services offered in common are gated community, courtesy patrol, 24 hour maintenance, picnic area, resident activities and on bus line.
